Djurwa Trucks Hit the Streets of Sydney and Melbourne

It’s no secret that Djurwa is fast becoming a major player in the recycling and waste industry across the East Coast of Australia.

It’s no secret that Djurwa is fast becoming a major player in the recycling and waste industry across the East Coast of Australia. And now, the people of Sydney and Melbourne will see even more of Djurwa’s presence on the road with the launch of four new trucks in NSW and Victoria!

Djurwa’s Managing Director, Nathan Martin (pictured) says he’s proud of how far Djurwa has come since it’s establishment in 2021.

“Getting our trucks on the road was a big step in Djurwa’s journey,” Nathan said.

“An important element of the truck design was to highlight our logo; which has significant meaning in itself. It’s all about growth. The seed pods along the bottom of the logo, followed by a white wave which symbolises water. Above the water we have the traditional Aboriginal symbol for bushfire, followed by sunset shapes which symbolise the sun, growth and rebirth. The black dots around the top embody community. This is the essence of Djurwa,” he said.

There are now two Djurwa hook trucks and two Djurwa Marrel trucks operating across Sydney and Melbourne, with more to come in 2023.
